John Fisher is a Devon based Motivational/Inspirational
speaker, who delivers a POWERFUL MESSAGE about the
need for us all to take responsibility in our lives.
John served in the Army joining as a boy soldier, leaving after fourteen years at the rank of Sergeant. He has also worked as a shopkeeper, publican, lorry driver and Policeman. He has a lifetime of practical hands on experience, which he is able to share with his audience.
All of these professions have given him a valuable insight into the wants and needs of ordinary people. Through his study of
Positive Mental Attitude, which first started when he joined the Army as a boy, he knows the value of having a
Positive Attitude and the real worth of Self Belief. By applying these techniques, John will show how ordinary people can become,
EXTRAORDINARY, and achieve things which they never thought they could. Motivational material is not only for the Super Achievers in life, it is for anyone who simply wants to achieve
that bit more. You just decide on how BIG you want your BIT to be.
John has developed a model, which he has entitled
"Develop Success Principles", based on a set of Acronyms.
The first of these is "Develop Success Principles Take
ACTION". This deals with everyday practices which can be used to help people achieve their aims, reach their goals and live fuller lives. He has produced this in an easy to read and carry format, in order that
it can be readily referred too.

John knows from first hand experience how a positive
attitude, and positive expectation, can help overcome doubts and fears to turn seemingly lost
causes into win-win situations.
John has been involved in Youth Work. Both he and his wife also provide family based respite care for children with Special Needs. John is also involved in the charity field and is the co-founder and chairman of Chernobyl Aid Devon, a charity that supports humanitarian aid projects in Belarus, the country that received 70% of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster Fallout.
John is very concerned about the effects of negative influences on young people and
has written an inspirational novel for children called,
"The Mountain Express", which also holds a serious message for parents.
